A Seer’s Solace – Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Guide
In Fornburg you will need to complete a couple of intertwined quests. These quests are Family Matters and A Seer’s Solace. To progress the “Family Matters” quest, ensure you’ve completed “A Seer’s Solace” first in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. This guide will show you how to complete A Seer’s Solace.

Reach Valka’s Hut
The “A Seer’s Solace” quest, while relatively short, offers an engaging experience. To initiate it, journey northward from Fornburg for approximately 500 meters. You can embark on this journey either by walking on foot or by riding your dependable mount. Upon arriving at Valka’s Hut, enter through the front door, setting the stage for a profound conversation with the NPC.
During this dialogue, you’ll bear witness to an enigmatic and haunting vision, its meaning shrouded in mystery. After the vision concludes, Eivor regains control, prompting you to leave the hut and follow Sigurd’s silhouette through a winding mountain pass. Pass through the doors at the pass’s terminus, which leads to an intriguing cutscene, unraveling more of the story.
As the cutscene concludes, you’ll awaken within Valka’s Hut, marking the culmination of the “A Seer’s Solace” quest. You will earn valuable XP as a reward, propelling your progress forward. With this quest successfully completed, return to Fornburg to seamlessly continue your journey into the “Family Matters” questline.
