First things first you need to become the Pokemon Champion of the Galar Region. This means you need to have beaten Leon in battle and have the game show the end after the credits roll. Once you do this you will be returned to your house. From here you can explore the Galar Region to your heart’s content. The first stop you should make is Hop & Leon’s house.

Hop & Leon’s is located just down the pathway from your house. Head inside their house and go upstairs into Leon’s Room. On the floor in this room you will see a Pokeball. Go up to the Pokeball and interact with it to get Charmander. Leon has left this Pokemon for you as a gift. Pretty nice if you ask me.
