In the town of Freezington in The Crown Tundra you will meet an NPC that offers to give you Carrot Seeds for Dynite Ore. This trade may appear somewhat useless at first but it is actually very important to progress the main story. Where to Get Carrot Seeds in Freezington

In the middle of Freezington there is an NPC that stands at the end of a planter bed. Approach this NPC and speak to him to be offered a trade of 8x Dynite Ore for Carrot Seeds. Make this trade to receive the Key Item Carrot Seeds. Once you have these seeds you can progress The Legend of the King of Bountiful Harvests.

What to Do with Carrot Seeds

To use the Carrot Seeds you receive you will want to advance The Legend of the King of Bountiful Harvests main story mission. At the half-way mark of this mission you will learn that the Legendary Pokemon Calyrex once had a trusty steed that has since run off. By planting the Carrot Seeds you can grow two types of Carrots to lure Glastrier out. The two types of Carrots that grow depend on where you plant the seeds:

  • Old Cemetery: Grow Shaderoot Carrots for Ghost type.
  • Snowslide Slope: Grow Iceroot Carrots for Ice type.

Depending on which Carrot you grow determines what Calyrex you get at the end of The Legend of the King of Bountiful Harvests main story mission. Keep in mind the Pokemon you receive will be Psychic + Ghost or Ice.
