Your father will tell you the Grandpa’s Meatloaf recipe. If he trusts you.

As the name of this recipe suggests the meatloaf in question comes from the family. This means it is available to players that select the Kid Stuff trait when starting out in Starfield. This trait allows players to visit their parents in the New Atlantis Residential District on the planet of Jemison, located within the Alpha Centauri System.

After visiting your parents in this location for the first time, players will receive a prompt from Noel to return and visit them. Go back to your parent’s apartment and speak to your dad there. When you speak to him he will talk about your grandfather’s old restaurant. He will then mention his meatloaf and the recipe associated with it. Completing this interaction unlocks the recipe for use at any Cooking Station.

How to Make Grandpa’s Meatloaf in Starfield

The Grandpa’s Meatloaf recipe works a bit different than other recipes you encounter in Starfield. Because it is a family recipe, players must swear secrecy to their father about it. Due to this secrecy nothing is written down. That means there is no note you can consult in your inventory (like the Shepherd’s Pie). To cook this dish requires the following ingredients:

  • Onion x1
  • Dairy x1
  • Egg x1
  • Red Meat x1
  • Tomato x1

Grandpa’s Meatloaf can be sold for 240 credits or consumed for certain bonuses. Upon consumption, it not only replenishes 25 Health but also bolsters your damage resistance by 125 for a duration of ten minutes. Additionally, it enhances their XP gain by two percent, a benefit that persists for a generous two-hour period.
