Riis-Reborn Key Codes – Destiny 2 Beyond Light Guide

On the planet of Europa in Destiny 2 Beyond Light there is a special emote based event players can complete by picking up the Riis-Reborn Key Codes. This special event will reward players with a legendary piece of armor if completed successful. To help you complete this quest learn what to do with the Riis-Reborn Key Codes below.

How to Get Riis-Reborn Key Codes

Note: The key codes may trigger regardless of whether you killed this enemy or not. It appears to apply to anyone in the general vicinity when the enemy is killed. This code is also a weekly activity so you can’t repeat it once you complete it.

The Riis-Reborn Key Codes are a special buff players can earn by killing a yellow bar enemy named the Technorunner in the Eventide Ruins area. This enemy appears during snowstorms and you will know it has spawned when the message “nearby, a powerful enemy waits out the storm. Once this message pops head to the abandoned ruins on the south side of the area. Go into the the building and defeat the enemy to receive the Riis-Reborn Key Codes.

What to Do With the Riis-Reborn Key Codes

Once you have the Riis-Reborn Key Codes you will probably be wondering what to do with them. Take the codes and head to the Riis-Reborn Approach. Head through this area until you reach the room you reach by dropping down the pipes (just before room where you get the Salvation’s Grip). Inside this room you will find a console you can use the codes at to Drink Inert Radiolarian Fluid. Once this fluid is drank you will activate the Cadmus Ridge Signal. Go to this area of Europa now.

In Cadmus Ridge make your way to the location marked on the map above to find a Radiolarian Signature. Interact with this signature to get spawned on a vex structure in the skies above. On this structure you will need to solve a puzzle to unlock the treasure chest there.

How to Solve Emote Puzzle

To solve the puzzle you need to use a different emote on four round switches on the vex structure. You will have 2 minutes to do this. To successfully solve the puzzle emote on the first round switch at where you spawn. Once this is done look at the three pyramid shapes on the ground around the switch. These switches will point left, straight, and right. The pyramid that is lit up is the direction of the next switch you need to emote on. If you don’t follow the lit pyramids you will fail the puzzle. Head to the switch in the direction the lit is pointing, use a different emote and repeat until you reach the fourth switch.

When you emote on the fourth switch if you have inputted the emotes correctly a chest will spawn in. This chest will contain the legendary gear piece. Interact with the chest to end the puzzle. After a few seconds the vex structure will disappear and you will fall back down to the Cadmus Ridge area.
