Remnant 2 Invader Archetype Unlock
In Remnant 2 there are special, hidden, archetypes players can unlock to get new ways of playing the game. These hidden classes require completing special events or looking in off-the-beaten path locations. One of the hidden Archetypes you can find is the Invader. IMPORTANT: Before proceeding ensure you have the Dreamcatcher melee weapon. You need this weapon to unlock the dream that holds the Invader class material.
Where to Unlock the Invader in Remnant 2
The Invader Archetype can be unlocked in the Root Earth world. This world is the final world you visit during the campaign. On Root Earth go to the Corrupted Harbor. From this checkpoint go to the crashed ship. Inside the ship go to the engine room. In this room there is a doorway that leads down to a large arena area.
In this arena there is a dead Root Walker enemy that has the Escalation Protocol Amulet on it. Pick up this Amulet and then use the Dreamcatcher on it to get the Walker’s Dream consumable. Use this dream to go to the Twilight Vale location where the Invader material can be acquired.
How to Unlock the Invader in Remnant 2
To unlock the Invader you need to acquire the special material for the Archetype. The Invader class material piece is the Wooden Shiv. The Wooden Shiv drops off the Bane Aberration located in the Twilight Vale location. Defeat the Bane Aberration to get this item.
Go back to Ward 13 and visit Wallace in his room. Ask to see what he can craft. Among the list you will find the Serrated Root Blade Engram item. To make the Serrated Root Blade requires the following materials:
- 1x Wooden Shiv.
- 10x Lumenite Crystal.
- 1000x Scrap.
Once you’ve crafted the Serrated Root Blade you will have unlocked the Invader Archetype. There are two ways to use this Archetype either as your main (by starting a new game) or slotting it into your second Archetype slot.
