Remnant 2 Dreamcatcher

The Remnant 2 Dreamcatcher is a special melee weapon players can get in the game. This melee weapon can be used to deal damage, but it also has a secondary function. This secondary function allows the player to steal dream consumables from sleeping NPCs and bosses. To learn more about this weapon see our Remnant 2 Dreamcatcher guide below.

How to Get the Dreamcatcher in Remnant 2

To get the Dreamcatcher you need to acquire the Prison Cell Key in the Morrow Sanatorium. Once you’ve grabbed the key you can open the locked cell door in the basement. In the cell you will find the Nightweaver Stone Doll.

Take the Nightweaver Stone Doll and go to The Tormented Asylum (which is the Nightweaver’s realm) using the Strange Web. In this realm you will find the Nightweaver’s Web in one of the cells. Give the Nightweaver’s Web the Nightweaver Stone Doll to get the Dreamcatcher weapon.

What Does the Dreamcatcher Do in Remnant 2

The Dreamcatcher, first and foremost, is a melee weapon. This means you can use it to kill bad guys and level it up. The second function of the Dreamcatcher is as a tool to collect consumable dreams from sleeping characters.

Consumable Dreams from the Dreamcatcher

When you use the Dreamcatcher on sleeping characters/bosses you earn a consumable dream from them. These dreams, when consumed, warp you to special locations. The characters you can get dreams from are:

  • Nimue’s Dream: Get from sleeping Nimue. Takes you to Retreat’s Horizon. There is material here in the very south called Anamy’s Echo. Give to McCabe to get the Crescent Moon Bow.
  • Huntress’s Dream: Get from sleeping The Huntress. Takes you to Briella’s Reverie. Here you fight a more powerful The Huntress. Defeat her to get the Sacred Hunt Feather. Give to McCabe to get the Familiar weapon mod.
  • Walker’s Dream: Get from sleeping enemy in the Corrupted Harbor location of Root Earth. Takes you to the Twilight Vale location. Here you can fight the Bane Aberration to get the Wooden Shiv. The Wooden Shiv can be used to unlock the Invader Archetype.

To ensure you don’t wake either character you want to crouch as you approach them. When you get near use a melee attack and a special animation will trigger of you collecting the dream from them.
