Remnant 2 Alchemist Archetype Unlock
In Remnant 2 there are special, hidden, classes players can unlock to get new ways of playing the game. These hidden Archetypes require completing special events or looking in off-the-beaten path locations. One of the hidden Archetypes you can find is the Alchemist. Where to Unlock the Alchemist in Remnant 2
The Alchemist is one of the first Archetypes players can unlock in the game. This Archetype is hidden in Losomn, specifically in the slum areas like the Morrow Parish named location. In this location there is a special random event players can have occur to them called Manticora in a Drain.
To triggered the Manticora in a Drain event walk up to the large grates you see in the slum areas. These grates are large and have their bars bent to make a sort of hole in them. If the event triggers when you get close, a Manticora enemy will grab you and pull you into the grate. You will wake up in a new, secret area.
To obtain the Alchemist’s armor set, you need to repeat this event in a sewer dungeon like Tiller’s Rest or The Great Sewer. Doing so will transport you to a new location containing the Academic’s Set. Simply loot the armor set off the corpse it is on. Additionally, by defeating the Manticora in that area, you will also acquire the Drakestone Pearl ring.
How to Unlock the Alchemist in Remnant 2
In the new new location fight the Manticora that pulled you in. Kill this enemy and you will receive the Mysterious Stone item as one of its drops. This item is one of the materials used to unlock the Alchemist Archetype.
Go back to Ward 13 and visit Wallace in his room. Ask to see what he can craft. Among the list you will find the Philosopher’s Stone Engram item. To make the Philosopher’s Stone requires the following materials:
- 1x Mysterious Stone.
- 10x Luminous Crystal.
- 1000x Scrap.
Once you’ve crafted the Philospher’s Stone you will have unlocked the Alchemist Archetype. There are two ways to use this Archetype either as your main (by starting a new game) or slotting it into your second Archetype slot.
