???

When you start Chapter 5, you will take control of the player while Huggy Wuggy is attempting to break down the door. You need to wait about 30 seconds before he bends the door and steps through. At this point you can move.

Turn around and run through the now open door. This starts the first (of multiple) chase sequences where you need to escape from Huggy Wuggy.

Huggy Wuggy Chase Video Guide

The first Huggy Wuggy chase is fairly straightforward. It serves as a bit of a tutorial to the game, tasking players with following a clear path to go deeper into the Harvest Processing Center 04.

The video guide above from our Hold To Reset channel details how to complete the entire Huggy Wuggy chase, and solve the puzzles in it. If it was helpful, be sure to give it a like and subscribe!

Find a Way Out

Midway through the chase, you will crawl through a vent and drop into a large walkway area. You are safe from Huggy Wuggy here for the moment.

  • An Intercepted Communique [1/35]: Immediately after falling, turn around. The note is on the table directly beneath the vent exit.

  • Glitched Hand Sensor [1/8]: After swinging across the gap, turn and look at the far wall below you. You’ll see a flickering sensor; activate it with your hand to begin the Pianosaurus Easter Egg.

Once you’ve grabbed both, head into the next room—a large Storage Room with different sized storage blocks.

Storage Room Notes

After collecting the items in the walkway area, head into the next room—a large, block-filled Storage Room. There are two notes hidden here:

  • Shipping Manifest – July ’96 [2/35]: As soon as you enter, look to your left. You’ll see a doorway blocked by a large yellow block. Use your Grabpack to pull the block out of the way, revealing a hidden passage. The note is inside.

  • Inventory – September ’95 [3/35]: Further into the room, you’ll reach the area where you need to build a staircase out of blocks. Instead of building toward the exit, build your staircase to the right toward a gap in the blue stacked crates. Climb up to reach the gap where the note is hidden.

The Storage room tasks you with pulling the different sized blocks to make a staircase to reach the block path on the other side. Your solution should look something like the screenshot above to solve this room.

Your staircase should look something like this.

After you complete the first room and squeeze through the container path, you will arrive in a second room where you need to move some more blocks around again.

Your solution should look something like the screenshot above to make your way into the Vent. Complete the hand sensor section and enter Engineering via the decontamination room.

Gas Room Puzzle Solution

Once you go through the Vent and the decontamination room, you will be in a room with gas pipes that are flaming, blocking your path. This is another puzzle room.

Shut off valve in the gas puzzle room.
Turn this handle on the wall to open the path to the right.

To solve the puzzle in this room, turn left when you enter. Look on the far wall for a valve you can turn. Turn this valve to turn off the fire blocking your path forward.

After the fire is turned off, follow the path forward, to the next Valve on the path. To turn this Valve, stand in the white box marked on the floor.

Upon closing this Valve, Huggy Wuggy will burst through the wall. Run back up the towards the decontamination room. Turn right and run along the path.

Go through the hole in the wall. run forward, turn left and get into the elevator on the left.

Elevator

Inside the elevator there are four holes in the walls and four lights on the ceiling. Huggy Wuggy’s arm will bust through these holes and try and damage you. Watch for the shaking lights, and shaking squares in the wall to see where he will strike. When you see them shaking, get out of the way.

At the end of the elevator ride, the elevator will stall out. The doors will open and you will see an Omni-Hand Sensor on the wall. Use the Omni-Hand to attempt to trigger the sensor. When you do, a cutscene will play where Huggy Wuggy steals your GrabPack.

If you choose not to trigger the hand sensor, the cutscene will still eventually play. Huggy will reach into the elevator and grab your GrabPack either way.

After the cutscene the elevator will fall and the title screen will show. When you come to you will be in a new area called Recycling & Reclamation. Check out our Recycling & Reclamation guide to navigate that area.
