Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 Release Date Revealed in Final Trailer

Early yesterday Mob Games, developers behind the popular horror title Poppy Playtime, released a new trailer. This new trailer, called Poppy Playtime: Chapter 3 – Official Game Trailer #2, provides players with a look at the upcoming chapter. While the trailer features a good look at gameplay the more important detail it shared was the official Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 release date which is fast approaching.

Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 Final Trailer Details and Release Date

At the end of the Poppy Playtime Chapter 2: Fly in a Web players ride a train towards the Playcare, an orphanage on the premise of Playtime Co. factory. Before reaching this location the train crashes and the player passes out while looking at a sign for the Playcare.

The final trailer for Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 continues from the conclusion of Chapter 2. Elliot Ludwig introduces players to the new location, offering glimpses of gameplay featuring novel locations and mechanics. These new mechanics include a Gas Mask (revealed in a previous trailer), flare gun hand, and a jumping hand.

Amidst the unveiling of new locations and mechanics, the trailer also introduces menacing new toys. The primary antagonist in this chapter is CatNap, also recognized as Experiment 1188 – a formidable, large purple cat relentlessly pursuing players through the Playcare. Additionally, there’s a hint of Huggy Wuggy making a return, the adversary players ‘defeated’ in Chapter 1.

The trailer closes with the highly anticipated revelation of the Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 release date. Players can dive into the new chapter on January 30th, available on both PC and Consoles upon its release.
