In Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet Watchtower locations are special landmarks players can visit. These special landmarks are home to items and special Pokemon called Gimmighoul. What are Watchtowers?

Watchtowers are special, named, locations players can encounter across Paldea. These towers feature multiple levels which can be reached either by climbing attached ladders or using the Legendary Pokemon’s flying ability to reach the top.

The Watchtower locations are home to items along with a special Chest Form Pokemon named Gimmighoul, which can be defeated for Gimmighoul Coins.

There are a total of 13 Watchtowers for players to find in the game across Paldea. Almost every region has a Watchtower in it with some having more than one. When you visit a Watchtower and reach the top of it, it becomes marked on your map. This allows you to fast travel to that location.

North Province (Area One) Watchtower

In the north eastern corner of Paldea you will find the North Province (Area One) Watchtower. This Watchtower is directly north of the North Province (Area Two) Pokemon Center.

Glaseado Mountain Watchtower

At the southeastern base of Glaseado Mountain you will find the Glaseado Mountain Watchtower. This Watchtower is located slightly off the main mountain path. When you do see below you the best approach is to glide down on top of it.

East Province (Area One) Watchtower

One of the easiest Watchtowers to find in the game is the East Province (Area One) Watchtower. This tower lies directly to the southeast of the city Levincia. You can see it from the city, making it easy to navigate to.

East Province (Area Three) Watchtower

Another easy Watchtower to find is the East Province (Area Three) Watchtower. Like the previous tower you can use Levincia to get your bearings. From the city head northwest and you will encounter the tower.

South Province (Area Three) Watchtower

From the town of Artazon head to the west along the path leading out of town. You will eventually encounter the South Province (Area Three) Watchtower to the north above you.

South Province (Area Five) Watchtower

If you stand on top of the South Province (Area Three) Watchtower and look to the south, you can see the South Province (Area Five) Watchtower. It is located near the edge of the area.

South Province (Area Four) Watchtower

You can find the South Province (Area Four) Watchtower located to the south of the town of Cortondo. Make your way through the Olive Orchards on the edge of the town see it looming on the horizon. It is a fairly simple tower to reach.

South Province (Area Two) Watchtower

You can find the South Province (Area Two) Watchtower located to the east of the town of Cortondo. It is situated along the main path from the Academy. If you followed that path to reach the town, you will have seen the tower.

West Province (Area One) Watchtower

The West Province (Area One) Watchtower is located to the southwest of Cascarrafa. You can reach it by leaving the town and heading to the southwest or by going east of the West Province (Area One) Pokecenter.

Asado Desert Watchtower

You will find the Asado Desert Watchtower in the center of the Asado Desert. The Asado Desert lies to the west of the Cascarrafa town. Simply leave the town to the west to reach the Watchtower.

Casseroya Watchtower No. 1

The Casseroya Watchtower No. 1 lies along the southern banks of the Casseroya Lake. The easiest way to reach this Watchtower is to follow the path from the West Medali Pokemon Center path heading to the west. You will eventually reach this location.

Casseroya Watchtower No. 2

If you continue heading west from Casseroya Watchtower No. 1 you will eventually reach the Casseroya Watchtower No.2. This Watchtower lies on the southeastern banks of the Casseroya Lake.

Casseroya Watchtower No. 3

Continue following the edge of the lake to the west. It will wrap around so you are on the west side of the Casseroya Watchtower. Here you will find the Casseroya Watchtower No. 3.
