Mario Party 3 Unveiled as Next Nintendo Switch Online Title

Nintendo has revealed a new addition to Nintendo Switch Online. Mario Party 3 is coming on Friday, October 27, for fans of the classic party games.

The announcement for the new addition was made on the official Nintendo of America X account. This account tweeted out the following for fans of the series:

Mario Party 3 now joins the ranks of Mario Party 1 and 2 on the Nintendo Switch Online service. This service, available to subscribers of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, offers access to classic titles from Nintendo’s extensive catalog. With the addition of Mario Party 3, the service boasts a total of 26 games for players to enjoy:

  • Banjo-Kazooie
  • Dr Mario 64
  • Excitebike 64
  • F-Zero X
  • GoldenEye 007
  • Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
  • The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask
  • The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
  • Mario Golf
  • Mario Kart 64
  • Mario Party
  • Mario Party 2
  • Mario Party 3
  • Mario Tennis
  • Paper Mario
  • Pilotwings 64
  • Pokémon Puzzle League
  • Pokémon Snap
  • Pokémon Stadium
  • Pokémon Stadium 2
  • Sin & Punishment
  • Star Fox 64
  • Super Mario 64

  • Yoshi’s Story

Mario Party 3 made its original debut on the N64 back in December 2000 in Japan and 2001 in North America,. Notably, this game stood out for its roster of 71 mini-games and introduced the first-ever solo-playable story mode in the series.

This installment marked the third entry in the Mario Party series and served as the concluding chapter on the N64 before the subsequent title launched on the Gamecube.
