Inteleon Tera Raid Event Guide
It’s that time of the month again where Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet get a new 7 Star Raid battle. This raid’s Pokemon is the secret agent Pokemon named Inteleon. Inteleon is a Generation 8 water-type Pokemon. To learn how to take on this hard battle see our complete Inteleon Tera Raid event guide below.
Inteleon Tera Raid Event Details
In late April, the Pokemon Company announced the Inteleon Tera Raid event for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, sharing event details through the Poke Portal news feed and various social media accounts. Here are the key highlights of the Inteleon Tera Raid Event you need to know:
Tera Raid Pokemon | Inteleon (Mightiest Mark) |
Raid Level | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Level 100) |
Event Dates | April 28, 2023 at 00:00 UTC – April 30, 2023 at 23:59 UTC. May 5, 2023 at 00:00 UTC – May 7, 2023 at 23:59 UTC. |
Tera Type | Ice |
Nature | Quiet |
Like previous 7 Star Raid Battles the Inteleon is limited to one catch per save. It is Shiny Locked meaning you have to use alternative methods to get Inteleon in its Shiny form.
When the Inteleon Tera Raid event is active players can look for a Black Crystal Raid Dungeon on their map once per day. Additionally players can also join up online with either their friends or other trainers via the Poke Portal to take on Inteleon.
Inteleon Tera Raid Moves
Before diving head first into the Level 100 Inteleon Tera Raid you will want to know what you are going up against. The Inteleon you face is Tera Type Ice. Additionally you will want to know the Pokemon’s moveset. The Level 100 Inteleon you face has the following move set:
Move | Description |
---|---|
Sniper (Hidden Ability) | If the Pokemon attack lands a critical hit, the attack is powered up even further. |
Snipe Shot | The user ignores the effects of opposing Pokémon’s moves and Abilities that draw in moves, allowing this move to hit the chosen target. |
Blizzard | A howling blizzard is summoned to strike opposing Pokémon. This may also leave the opposing Pokémon frozen. |
Dark Pulse | The user releases a horrible aura imbued with ill intent. This may also make the target flinch. |
Tearful Look | The user gets teary-eyed to make the target lose its combative spirit. This lowers the target’s Attack and Sp. Atk stats. |
Snowscape | The user summons a snowstorm lasting five turns. This boosts the Defense stats of Ice types. |
Mist | The user cloaks itself and its allies in a white mist that prevents any of their stats from being lowered for five turns. |
The Tera Raid Inteleon offers some interesting coverage issues. The Pokemon deals Ice and Water type damage. To counter this you need to find a Pokemon build that can survive these types of damage while also dealing damage against Inteleon.
Best Pokemon to Use Against Inteleon
Solo: Annihalape does wonders in this raid solo. The key is to have optimal builds to make the battle work in your favor. This means having one the Pokemon at Level 100. Then just follow the build & strategy below:
- Annihalape Build: 252 HP / 252 Attack. Give it a Covert Cloak. Make sure it has Sunny Day and Drain Punch learned as moves.
- Strategy: Once you start the battle use Sunny Day to start and then spam Drain Punch. Use Sunny Day again whenever Snowscape is used by Inteleon. Terrastilize when it is available and then just keep spamming Drain Punch.
The video above shows using Iron Hands for the raid. This Pokemon can be used to some success. With that said you will want to use Annihalape if possible to make the fight easier.
What Items does Inteleon Drop during the Raid?
NOTE: Make a Pepper, Basil, Sweet Herba, and Spicy Herba Mystica sandwich before fighting Inteleon. This sandwich triggers Raid Power: Ice Level 3 which improves the amount of items received at the end of Ice Tera Type Raids.
Like other raids Inteleon drops items when it is caught/defeated. The items Inteleon can drop are high level Raid items and you get a lot of them. You will not get everything each time you complete the Tera Raid. There is a percentage chance drop rate for each item, which you can find over on Serebii. The list of things you can potentially get from this raid are as follows:
- Ability Patch.
- Ability Capsule.
- Bottle Caps.
- Rare Candies.
- Exp Candy L/XL.
- Zinc.
- Ghost Tera Shards.
- TM 143 – Blizzard.
- Ability Patch.
- Star Pieces.
- Comet Shards.
- Nugget.
- PP Up.
- Quiet Mint.
Once you’ve caught Inteleon once, you are not able to catch it again. You can, however, farm the raid for the items listed above if you so choose. This can be done by changing your system clock or by helping other online players.
