Shane 14-Heart Event

To unlock Shane’s 14 Heart Event in Stardew Valley, head into town with him when he goes out on Monday at 8:30 AM. As you enter town, you’ll trigger a cutscene where Shane stumbles out of the Stardrop Saloon after heavy drinking. Both Marnie and Jas witness this and suggest you talk to him the next time he leaves the saloon.

The next day, return to town to trigger another cutscene. This time, you confront Shane about his drinking, but he denies it and angrily walks away.

On the third day, enter town again to trigger the final cutscene. You and Marnie confront Shane in the saloon, where he isn’t drinking but playing arcade games. Shane will ask why you didn’t believe him, and you can choose between two responses:

  • “I’m sorry, I should’ve believed you.”
  • “I was worried!”
