In the new 1.4 update of Stardew Valley ConcernedApe added new Heart Events to unlock with your spouses. These Heart Events take place at 14 Hearts. To help you unlock each new Heart Event I am writing a guide for each spouse. The guide below shows you how to unlock the Leah 14 Heart Event in Stardew Valley.

How to Reach 14-Hearts with Leah?

To unlock the new event you first need to reach 14 hearts with Leah. You should already be around 10 since you’ve married her. To quickly raise the hearts with Leah you will want to give her the any of the following favorite items until you reach 14 Hearts:

  • Goat Cheese.
  • Poppyseed Muffin.
  • Salad.
  • Stir Fry.
  • Truffle.
  • Vegetable Medley.
  • Wine.

Once you’ve reached 14 Hearts with Leah you need to trigger the next portion of the Heart Event. To do this leave the house on any day of the week (but Sunday) after 6:00 AM. When you leave you will trigger a cutscene with Leah.

Exit House to Learn Leah Wants to Teach You How to Paint

When you exit your house you will trigger a cutscene. During this cutscene Leah will ask you to meet her in Cindersnap Forest on the following day at 12 (barring bad weather). Leah wants to teach you how to paint. Pass the time however you see fit into the following day then head towards Cindersnap Forest around Noon (12 PM).

Weather permitting make your way to the Leah’s house area around noon. Once you enter the area you will trigger a cutscene with Leah. In this cutscene Leah and you are painting a portrait of Marnie. Leah will ask you what style she should do. The choices are:

  • Classic country portrait.
  • Colorful, retro pop-art.
  • Minimalist modern.

She will then paint a painting while you also paint one. The results are not surprising. Leah’s painting looks good while your painting looks awful. You get to keep the painting and can hang it on your walls back at the farm.

That’s all you need to know to complete the Leah 14-Heart Event. What did you think of this event? Let me know in the comments below.
