How to Unlock Infinite Ammo in Resident Evil 4 Remake
In the Resident Evil 4 Remake there are a number of special unlockables that players can get from completing challenges in the game. One of the most sought after is infinite ammo for your weapons. There are couple of ways to get this unlock. Below I show you how to unlock Infinite Ammo in Resident Evil 4 Remake.
Unlock the Bonus Weapons and Max Them Out
The first method to getting infinite ammos is the easier of the two. This method is to unlock and of the the game’s three bonus weapons: the Chicago Sweeper, Handcannon, or the Primal Knife. Unlocking any of these three weapons requires completing specific challenges in the game.
Once you’ve unlocked any of the three weapons listed above your next step is to take it to the Merchant. Reach max level in upgrades and then unlock the exclusive level up. Both the Chicago Sweeper and the Handcannon get infinite ammo while the Primal Knife gets infinite durability. This is a costly method that requires using the max value Elegant Crown to make some serious cash to complete.
Unlock the Cat Ears Accessory
The second method is way harder than the first, but is also way more rewarding. If you don’t want to be limited to just infinite ammo in Bonus Weapons you will want to unlock the Cat Ears accessory. This accessory is attained by completing a very difficult challenge run called Leon “S+” Kennedy. To do this run you need to complete the main story on Professional mode with an S+ Rank.
Once you’ve completed this run and unlocked the Cat Ears you can equip them from the Extras screen onto Leon. When Leon is wearing the Cat Ears all weapons can be reloaded indefinitely without using the ammo items in your possession.
The most important thing to know about this accessory is that it applies to all guns. That’s means you can even rock an Infinite Rocket Launcher with the Cat Ears equipped.
Both of the methods above will allow you to legitimately unlock infinite ammo for use when playing the RE4 Remake. If you don’t want to go to all that trouble, and you are on PC, mods or Trainers are your next best bet.
Alongside infinite ammo there are a few other hidden things in the game. Players can find special beetle consumables to increase their health. They can also unlock special costumes that grant bonus gameplay buffs.
