How to Get the Well-done Hammer in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne

In the new Grand Appreciation Fest for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne there are a few new event quests for players to complete to get new weapons. One of the new weapons is a large drumstick looking hammer called the Well-done Hammer. To learn how to get one of these for yourself, read our how to get the Well-done Hammer guide below.

Complete the Beef is Never a Mi-steak Event

To start you need to complete the MR 16 or higher event quest called Beef is Never a Mi-steak. This event takes place in the Wildspire Waste and tasks you with hunting two target monsters: Glavenus and Ebony Odogaron. You have a total of 50 minutes to complete this quest and can fail if time expires or you faint 3 times. Upon completing this quest you receive the Meaty Canteen Ticket which is a special material reward needed to craft this weapon.

How to Craft the Well-done Hammer

Once you have the Meaty Canteen Ticket, make your way to the Smithy and select Forge Equipment > Weapons > Hammer. The Well-done Hammer can be found in the Workshop Weapon Tree. It comes in the Well-done and Juicy Well-done varieties.

To craft the Well-done Hammer you require the following materials:

  • 2x Meaty Canteen Tickets.
  • 2x Ebony Odogaron Hardfang.
  • 3x Molten Bursa.
  • 8x Monster Solidbone.
