In the Subject 2923 DLC for Remnant From the Ashes there are a number of new weapons players can unlock. These weapons range from simple merchant purchases to more involved mini-quests. One of the weapons that is more involved to get is the Twin Shot crossbow. Learn how to get the Twin Shot in Subject 2923 below.

Do Reisum Adventure Runs Until You Spawn the Rat Statue

Before getting to far into this quest-line you need to first spawn into a run with the statue shown above. You can do this by playing the Reisum Adventure Mode. This rat statue can be found in the hub section of Reisum (not a dungeon) when it spawns into your game. When you do get it to spawn you will notice an eye is missing from that statue and the stone door behind it is closed. To open the stone door you need to find the eye item and place it in the statue. To get this item head to the Watcher’s Hollow dungeon.

Complete the Watcher’s Hollow and Kill the Prisoners

The Watcher’s Hollow dungeon is a one area dungeon that ends with a hut that will have the Servant Cage Key (Red Item) in or around it. Fight your way to the end of the level and grab the key. Once you have the Servant Cage Key in your possession head back to the start of the dungeon and open the locked cell there.

Inside this cell you will find a number of servants that will cower in fear from you. To get the Creeper’s Peeper item you need to kill the center servant that is standing alone. Once killed the item will drop into your inventory alongside some other things.

Insert Creeper’s Peeper and Enter Cave

Take the Creeper’s Peeper item and make your way back to the rat statue. Place the Creeper’s Peeper into the statue to open the stone door behind it. Go into this cave and follow the path down until you reach an altar with the Twin Shot on it. Grab the weapon to add it to your inventory.

The Twin Shot is pistol slot weapon that fires two areas each time it is shot. This weapon doesn’t have an intrinsic weapon skill, but instead has an empty slot you can place one in. Like other weapons you can upgrade the Twin Shot to +20 in Ward 13.
