There is currently an event running in Genshin Impact called the Lantern Rite. This seasonal event features a number of interesting tasks and minigames for players to take part in. Lantern Fiber, Wick Material & Plaustrite Shard Locations in Genshin Impact
The Xiao Lantern is a special limited time item players can craft by collecting three different materials: Lantern Fiber, Wick Material and Plaustrite Shard. Each of these materials is required to craft the Xiao Lantern. To find these materials you will want to search the following:
- Lantern Fiber: Is a random drop off of any foraging plant you interact with. This means you will want to forage any plants you encounter. Plants with 3x forgeable on them have the potential to yield 3x Lantern Fiber.
- Wick Material: Drop off of Hilichurl-type enemies and Fatui Elites.
- Plaustrite Shard: Is a random drop off of Geovishap Hatchlings, Geovishaps, and Stonehide Lawachurls enemies. It also has a chance to drop from mining rocks that yield Iron or White Iron ore.
Once you have the required material it is time to craft your lantern. To do this you need to ensure you’ve completed the The Origin of the Lanterns quest. This gives you the crafting recipe for Xiao Lantern.
How to Craft the Xiao Lantern
To create a lantern simply head to any nearby work bench. Access the bench to see a list of items you can craft. One of the items on the list is the Xiao Lantern. To craft a Xiao Lantern you need to the following:
- Lantern Fiber x1.
- Wick Material x1.
- Plaustrite Shard x1.
- 50 Mora.
When you have the required materials you can craft a lantern. Simply press the craft button to make the item. Once a lantern is crafted you can use it to access the Theater Mechanicus game mode offered by Rujin.
