Fortnite Chapter 2 Alter Ego Challenges Guide

In Fortnite Chapter 2 there are a number of new outfits for players to unlock in the game’s Battle Pass. These outfits feature a base look and an unlockable Alter Ego look. To unlock the Alter Ego look you need to complete in game challenges. These challenges range from simple to more complex. Alter Ego Challenges

Alter Ego Challenges are a collection of challenges that span through three different stages for each skin. These challenges can be viewed under Challenges > Alter Ego on the main menu. Once you complete the third stage of each Alter Ego challenge you will unlock the skin. The complete list of Alter Ego Challenges is as follows:

Turk vs Riptide Alter Ego Challenges

1. Stage 1: Reach Level 1.
   • How to complete: unlocks when you buy the Battle Pass.
2. Stage 2: Complete 2 Missions.
   • How to complete: missions are collections of challenges to complete (New World, Open Waters, etc.). You need to 100% 2 of these missions to complete this stage of the Alter Ego challenge.
3. Stage 3: Catch 1 fish while wearing the Turk outfit.
   • How to complete: equip the Turk outfit then head to your favorite fishing spot. Grab a pole and catch a fish. Simple as that.

Journey vs Hazard Alter Ego Challenges

1. Stage 1: Reach Level 1.
   • How to complete: unlocks when you buy the Battle Pass.
2. Stage 2: Complete 3 Missions.
   • How to complete: missions are collections of challenges to complete (New World, etc.). You need to 100% 3 of these missions to complete this stage of the Alter Ego challenge.
3. Stage 3: Summit the highest mountain wearing the Journey outfit.
   • How to complete: the highest mountain in the game is Mount Kay. Mount Kay is located to the southeast of Lazy Lake. Equip the Journey outfit and follow the red flags to climb to the peak and complete this objective.

Rippley vs Sludge Alter Ego Challenges

1. Stage 1: Reach Level 20.
   • How to complete: simple continue to level up your Battle Pass to reach level 20. To do this easily focus on filling your medal card daily and completing missions challenges for lots of XP.
2. Stage 2: Complete 4 Missions.
   • How to complete: missions are collections of challenges to complete (New World, etc.). You need to 100% 4 of these missions to complete this stage of the Alter Ego challenge.
3. Stage 3: Enter a Slurp vat while wearing a Rippley outfit.
   • How to complete: make your way to the Slurpy Swamp and enter the main factory building there. Inside the main factory building you will find two closed vats. Destroy the lid on the vat and drop inside while wearing the Rippley outfit.

Remedy vs Toxin

1. Stage 1: Reach Level 40.
   • How to complete: simple continue to level up your Battle Pass to reach level 40. To do this easily focus on filling your medal card daily and completing missions challenges for lots of XP.
2. Stage 2: Complete 5 Missions.
   • How to complete: missions are collections of challenges to complete (New World, etc.). You need to 100% 5 of these missions to complete this stage of the Alter Ego challenge.
3. Stage 3: Heal a teammate with a Bandage Bazooka while wearing the Remedy outfit.
   • How to complete: the Bandage Bazooka is a new addition to the game. Like the weapon’s name suggest this weapon fires out Bandages. To complete this challenges you will want to play in Duos/Fours/or Team Rumble. Grab a Bandage Bazooka and use it on a friend in need of healing. Be sure to wear the Remedy outfit when you do this.

8-ball vs Scratch

1. Stage 1: Reach Level 60.
   • How to complete: simple continue to level up your Battle Pass to reach level 60. To do this easily focus on filling your medal card daily and completing missions challenges for lots of XP.
2. Stage 2: Complete 6 Missions.
   • How to complete: missions are collections of challenges to complete (New World, etc.). You need to 100% 6 of these missions to complete this stage of the Alter Ego challenge.
3. Stage 3: Sink the 8 ball at the giant pool table while wearing the 8-ball outfit.
   • How to complete: currently n/a.

Cameo vs Chic

1. Stage 1: Reach Level 80
   • How to complete: simple continue to level up your Battle Pass to reach level 80. To do this easily focus on filling your medal card daily and completing missions challenges for lots of XP.
2. Stage 2: Complete 7 Missions
   • How to complete: missions are collections of challenges to complete (New World, etc.). You need to 100% 7 of these missions to complete this stage of the Alter Ego challenge.
3. Stage 3: Spray billboards while wearing the Cameo outfit.
   • How to complete: equip the Cameo outfit and your favorite Spray. Head into a game and spray some billboards. Right now there doesn’t appear to be many billboards in game (two in Sweaty Sands).

Mystery Skin

1. Stage 1: Collect FORTNITE letters hidden in Loading Screens.
2. Stage 2: ???.
3. Stage 3: ???.
