Elden Ring features a map players can use as they explore the different areas in the game. This map is shrouded in fog at the start, but can be revealed through finding Map Fragments hidden throughout each area. The first area that features map fragments is Limegrave. To help you find them all here’s HTR’s Elden Ring Limgrave Map Fragment locations guide.

West Limgrave Map Fragment

The first Limgrave Map Fragment you will encounter is located along the main storyline path. As you make your way to the castle you will follow a path that takes you through an area called the Gatefront Ruins. At the T in the ruins you will find the first map fragment lying next to a large pillar on the path. Grab the Map: Limgrave, West item sitting at the base of the inscribed pillar.

East Limgrave Map Fragment

You will find a map fragment by this large tree.

The second Limgrave Map Fragment is located in the southeast of Limgrave. It is located along the path going along the huge tree on your map. The exact location is highlighted on the map above. Go to this location and pick up the Map: Limgrave, East fragment to add it to your inventory.

Once you’ve picked up a Map Fragment you will notice the fog on your map disappears. This is exactly what we want to happen. The clearer your map the easier it is to navigate. Each of the new locations you visit has its own map fragments for you to collect.
