Assassin’s Creed Valhalla One Handed Sword Unlock Guide

In the update 1.3.0 of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Ubisoft has added a new one-handed sword players can unlock. This sword is a first of its kind in the game as it only requires one hand to use. If you want the weapon for yourself see our Assassin’s Creed Valhalla one handed sword unlock guide below.

Earn 300 Festival Tokens

The first step in unlocking the new one handed sword is to earn 300 Festival Tokens while the Sigrblot Festival is active. Complete the festival’s mini-games and side quests to earn your tokens. If you want the fastest earning method you should focus on completing the weapons tournament offered by Swinda. This tournament pays you 75 Festival Tokens per completion.

Buy the Skrofnung Sword from Festival Shop

Once you’ve acquired the 300 tokens head to the Festival Shop. In the shop you will see a sword called Skrofnung. Purchase this sword using your token to add it to your inventory. Once the sword is in your inventory you can use it.

What makes the one-handed swords in the game interesting is that you equip two weapons at a time. This makes creating new builds a bit more interesting as you now have some more flexibility.

You can enhance the sword both in terms of its statistics and rarity, with rarity upgrades transforming its appearance. To boost its rarity, head to the blacksmith. Meanwhile, stat upgrades are accomplished through your inventory, where you can allocate resources to level it up.

As for the addition of more one-handed swords to the game, there’s currently no information available. This particular sword, long the subject of rumors, is now at players’ disposal. However, it’s reasonable to anticipate that more swords may make their way into the game in the future.
