Assassin’s Creed Valhalla An Honorable Death is a side quest players can complete while the Oskoreia Festival is active. Examine Gudmund’s Ship of the Dead
Once you complete the Homeward mission you return to Ravensthorpe. At this point you will unlock this side quest. To start head back to the festival grounds and make your way to the large ship in the center of it. Approach the ship and examine it when prompted. This will trigger a cutscene.
After the cutscene you will need to find a wounded man. To do this head to the north of the longhouse. At the quest marker in this location you need to look for signs of the wounded man. Use your Odin Vision and interact with the green objective circles. Follow the coal path they create to the north until you reach the river and the wounded man. Approach the wounded man and interact with the note left near him to get your next objective.
Find and Reach Kalf’s Camp
After you’ve read the letter you will trigger a new objective marker to the west of Ravensthorpe. Make your way to this marker to reach Kalf’s camp. At this location head up the mountain to reach another smoking pot. Interact with the pot to trigger a second dream sequence.
Inside the dream you need to investigate what happened to Kalf. To do this use your Odin Vision to highlight points of interest. The four that you need to look at are (in order found):
- Fire.
- Shore camp.
- Shipwreck in river (dive to reach).
- Bloody spear.
All of the above clues can be found by heading to the south of the starting point. Once you find all four there will be a brief reenactment of what happened and you will awaken back in reality.
To finish the mission head back to Ravensthorpe and write the name on the ship. When you write the name you will trigger a cutscene. After this cutscene comes to an end you will complete this mission. You can then collect your tokens from nearby to earn 300. The next side quest called A Measure of Respect will begin.
