How to Get Star Fragments
Important: read how to get the Star Wand recipe below before advancing from the shooting star day.
To get the Star Wand you need to acquire materials known as Star Fragments. These Star Fragments can be acquired by wishing upon shootings stars. Now this may sound a bit strange but it is actually fairly straightforward. Wait for a day when Isabella tells you there is going to be shooting stars. Login during the night and head to a clear location on your island. Look up into the sky by pressing RT up and wait for the shooting stars to appear. While the star is streaking across the sky press A. If done correctly the star will glow brighter as pictured above.
After you’ve farmed wishes on shooting stars advance to the next day and explore your island’s beaches for Star Fragments. There should be plenty around from all the wishes you made the night before. Grab all of these materials so you can craft your own Star Wand.
How to Get the Star Wand Recipe
The Star Wand recipe can be acquired on the nights of Shooting Stars. Be on the look out for an owl named Celeste (should be found around the Museum). Speak with Celeste to learn about shooting stars and to get the Star Wand recipe. To craft this item you will need the following:
- 1x Large Star Fragment.
- 3x Star Fragment.
Once crafted the Star Wand is added to your inventory. When used the Star Wand allows you to change outfits on the fly, instead of using a wardrobe. This is convenient if you are a fashion conscious villager who is constantly changing their look.
