Wildcats of the Weald – Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
In the Hamtunscire area of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla there is a pair wildcat legendary animals players can hunt called the Wildcats of the Weald. This pair of wildcats is one of nine legendary animals players can hunt as part of the Master Hunter Trophy/Achievement. Besides progress towards the achievement completing this hunt also earns XP, materials, and area mystery progress. Where to Find the Wildcats of the Weald

The Wildcats of the Weald is a pair of old and young wildcats players can hunt in Hamtunscire, England. Thes legendary animals can be found in the Dark Weald to the to the southwest of Wincestere. When you reach the hunting area you will find a boss arena in the rocks. If you enter the area you will trigger the boss fight against the two wildcats.
How to Defeat the Wildcats of the Weald
Fighting the Wildcats of the Weald is a bit of a pain since there are two animals to face at one time. Both of these animals are fast and sometimes attack simultaneously. You need to be on your toes for this fight with range being an easy method of taking both out. One attack of note is from the Young Wildcat (smaller one) which will jump on your back. You need to roll to get it off otherwise it will drain your health.
As I have been doing I recommend stocking up on Rations before entering the fight. Also ensure you are somewhat near the power recommendation for this fight as you will be wasting your time otherwise. Before you enter the boss arena be sure to make a save so you can quick load there and try again if needed.
Rewards for Defeating Wildcats of the Weald
Like other legendary animals you will receive a number of rewards for felling this creature. Upon defeat you will earn XP, +1 Hamtunscire Mystery, +160 Leather materials, and the Skratii Scheme (Back). Once you turn the head into Wallace the head is mounted in your Longhouse at the settlement.
