To obtain the Gas Mask, progress through the main storyline until after completing the power plant room. Ollie will instruct you to return under the statues to acquire another key, specifically for the building named “Home Sweet Home.”
Visit Home Away From Home and complete the initial section, involving a dream maze that concludes with an encounter with Evil Huggy Wuggy. After being caught by Huggy Wuggy, wake up in the actual Home Sweet Home level. Proceed into the next room, which features three locked doors and a hole in the middle of the floor by some toy blocks. Look down the hole to spot something hanging from one of the broken boards – the Gas Mask. Use your hand to grab it and add it to your inventory.
If you already dropped through the hole in the floor, fear not, you can still grab the Gas Mask. Simply stand under hole and look up. You will see the mask hanging there. Grab it using your hand like you would from the top.
