What House to Choose in Hogwarts Legacy
A major part of the Hogwarts Legacy experience is arriving at Hogwarts to begin your 5th year of classes. During this process the student is sorted into one of the four houses from the popular series. If you are wondering what house to choose in Hogwarts Legacy, this guide will help you pick the one just right for you.
Which Hogwarts Legacy House Should I Be In?
Hogwarts separates its students into four houses. Each house represents a certain set of skills or character traits possessed by the members. The Sorting Hat is responsible for determining which house you go to. The sorting takes placed during the Introduction after completing the Gringott’s Vault Twelve sequence. While being sorted you can be placed in one of the four possible houses:
- Slytherin: The house known for ambition, cunning, and quest for power. Color Scheme is green and silver (representing connection to water). House animal is the Snake.
- Gryffindor: The house known for bravery, daring, and chivalry. Color scheme is gold and brown (representing connection to fire). House animal is the Lion.
- Ravenclaw: The house known for its creativity, wit, and intelligence. Color scheme is blue and bronze (representing sky and eagle feathers). House animal is the Raven.
- Hufflepuff: The house known for its hard work, loyalty, and patience. Color scheme is yellow and black (representing wheat and soil). House animal is the Badger.
Besides selecting the house for its color scheme you also want to keep in mind that the houses have different classmates, common rooms, and some unique quests. Hufflepuff students get to visit Azkaban while Gryffindor students get a quest from Nearly Headless Nick. This uniqueness does lend some replayability to the game as players may wish to play through the game as a different house.
If you haven’t done so already a good way to make your decision is through the Harry Potter Fan Club. There is a House Quiz you can take that can be linked to the game, do it to find out where you best fit.
