Storm Guide – The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan

With Conrad having successfully escaped the pirates in The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan, the pirates take their remaining captives back below deck. This starts the next chapter of the game called Storm. Use our Storm guide to complete this chapter correctly.

Storm (Playing Fliss)

During this chapter you play as Fliss. Fliss will speak with the pirates. During this first interaction with the pirates say the following when prompted:

1. REASSURING: “We were only talking”
2. ENRAGED: “How dare you” 
3. QTE: X

After speaking to the pirates the first time Olson will summon Fliss to come to the upper deck. Reply to Olson as follows:

1. DEFIANT: “Ask for help”
2. SAY NOTHING
3. QTE: X, Triangle.

At this point Julia will attempt to come up on the top deck. You should:

1. HELP (right-side choice)
2. QTE: Triangle.

Once Alex and Julia are on the deck they will talk with Fliss about Brad. Respond with the OPTIMISTIC: “He could help” choice. After this there conversation there is a cutscene featuring The Duke crashing into a large abandoned ship. We then see the Curator for the Act 1 ending.

Act 1 Ending

The Curator will speak to us about the events which have transpired up to this point. If you’ve been following this guide he will mention how good it is that everyone is still alive. When prompted reply to the Curator with this:

1. CURIOUS “Forewarned is forearmed”. This unlocks the Special Feature: Playing the Fool.

After this end of Act 1 the next chapter called Abandoned Ship will begin. This chapter stars Fliss and is relatively short.
