Stardew Valley 1.6 Will Let You Make Nasty Juice
Stardew Valley 1.6 is a much hyped content update for the popular indie farming title from Eric ‘ConcernedApe’ Barone. While there is no definitive release date, ConcernedApe has been teasing various additions the patch will make to the game. Yesterday, the developer shared a new gameplay addition that will allow players to use their artisanal talents to make rather gross sounding Wild Horseradish Juice.
The tweet by ConcernedApe featured a cropped image of the in-game toolbar. On the toolbar players can see a new Artisan Good called Wild Horseradish Juice. This new item is described as a “a sweet, nutritious beverage” and it boasts +75 Energy and +33 Health when consumed.
While the tweet itself is humorous, it appears to reveal a major gameplay addition coming in Stardew Valley 1.6. In the game Wild Horseradish is a forage-able veggie players can find during the Spring month. Up until update 1.6, plants you forage couldn’t be used to make Artisanal Goods. This appears to no longer be the case when Stardew Valley’s 1.6 update is released.
Adding the option to turn forage-able items into higher value goods makes perfect sense. This new addition will allow early-game players the option to use foraging more to make money if they so choose.
This is not the first reveal ConcernedApe has made about the upcoming update. He released a rather in detail update 1.6 infographic featuring the major addition. Additionally he also revealed that players would soon be able to place hats on their Stardew Valley pets.
We’ve been compiling a list of all the details shared so far about Stardew Valley 1.6. Be sure to check it out. Once this update is released, ConcernedApe will be returning to work on his new-game Haunted Chocolatier.
