In the Resident Evil 4 Remake there are special consumables players can find called Rhinoceros Beetles. Leon can use the beetle consumables to increase his max health, similar to using a Yellow Herb. Village Rhinoceros Beetle Location

The first Rhinoceros Beetle is located in the Village region of the game. It becomes accessible once you’ve reached Chapter 4 and can use the boat freely. Use the boat to go back to the Lakeside Village area and head to the ruined ship. Approach the tree on the northwest end of the boat to be and pick up Rhinoceros Beetle 1/3.

Castle Rhinoceros Beetle Location

The second Rhinoceros Beetle is located in the Castle region of the game. It becomes accessible during Chapter 9. In Chapter 9 you must complete the Courtyard maze by hoisting flags to raise a locked gate. Make your way to the room just south of where the Merchant and Typewriter are located. Head into the southwest corner of the gazebo/pond room and look on the wall. Pick up Rhinoceros Beetle 2/3 from off of it.

Island Rhinoceros Beetle Location

The third, and final, Rhinoceros Beetle is located in the Island region of the game. It becomes accessible in Chapter 14. After you pass through the Cargo Depot you will reach the Krauser fight in the Ruins area. During the beginning of this fight there is a cutscene and the fight begins. Complete the first phase and then walk back to where Leon dropped down into the area from. Pick up Rhinoceros Beetle 3/3 from off the cliffside.

Once you’ve found a beetle you can do two things with it. The first thing is use it. Beetles, when picked up, appear in your inventory. Use them from in the inventory to gain a maximum health boost. The second thing you can do is sell them to the Merchant. Each beetle sells for 10,000ptas.
