Where to Get the Red9

Advance through Chapter 4 until you reach the portion where you have access to the boat again. Once you can pilot the boat make your way to the middle of the Lake where there is a crashed old ship. Board the ship and walk to the front of it to find a treasure chest. Open the treasure chest to get the Red9 Pistol weapon.

Red9 Stats & Upgrades

The Red9 is a powerful hand gun that is compatible with the Red9 Stock attachment. This weapon has the following description when you inspect/hover over it in your inventory:

“A powerful handgun. A large red “9” is burned into the grip to prevent the user from loading incorrect ammo.”

The starting stats of the Red9 are:

  • Power: 1.5.
  • Ammo Capacity: 8.
  • Reload Speed: 0.85.
  • Rate of Fire: 0.90.
  • Precision: 3.00.

Like most weapons you can upgrade the Red9 by speaking to the Merchant. Upgrading this weapon improves all of the stats listed above. You cannot equip the Laser Sight to this weapon.

There are a number of special hidden weapons players can find if they explore the different chapters in the game. Players can unlock things like the LE 5, the iconic Chicago Typewriter, and even the infinite ammo Rocket Launcher.
