Once you beat the game in Elden Ring you can playthrough the game again on a harder difficulty. This is called new game+ (or NG+) mode. This mode allows players to infinitely replay the game in a harder difficulty while continue to build up their character. If you are wondering how to go about starting the harder playthrough this guide is for you. See below to learn how to start new game+ in Elden Ring.

Where to Start NG+ in Elden Ring

Once you’ve beaten the game and the credits roll you will return to the Roundtable Stronghold. It’s here that you can choose to start New Game+ or stay in your current game. To do this simply rest at the Table of Lost Grace in the roundtable room. This will bring up the menu. At the bottom of the menu is a new option that says “Begin Journey 2.” Select this option if you want to start NG+ mode.

New Game+ mode starts the game over again. The enemies, items, and bosses all reset. You can then playthrough the game again at a harder difficulty to complete content you missed or try different builds. New Game+ is available each time you beat the game, allowing you to continuously raise the difficulty each new playthrough.

Before you go into NG+ you ma want to do a few things. Often times it is beneficial to do a end-game checklist to prepare for you next run. This includes things like gathering materials, killing NPCs, exploring, and finishing up any outstanding quests that can still be completed. Good luck.
