How to Get the Unicorn Mount in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

To celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Ubisoft has released some rewards for players to unlock. One of these rewards is a special unicorn mount. To unlock this mount you need to complete a specific challenge in the game. To help you here’s our how to get the Unicorn mount in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla guide.

Unicorn Mount Unlock Ubisoft Connect Challenge

Starting November 11th there is a new Ubisoft Connect challenge that players can complete. This challenge is called Rainbow is Magic (found under Ubisoft Connect > Challenges). To complete the Rainbow is Magic challenge you need to perform five kills by rushing towards enemies with your mount.

Completing this challenge is a bit of a pain. To score a kill you need to get the final hit with your horse. The way I did it was finding groups of enemies walking the roads. Once found I would use the bow to lower their health without killing them. I then ran them over with my horse. Be sure to get the final blow by running them over. Do this five times to complete the challenge.

Unicorn Mount

Once you’ve completed the challenge navigate to the Ubisoft Connect Challenge screen and claim your reward. After the reward is claimed make your way to the nearest Stable and speak to the Stable Master to equip the Unicorn skin as your active mount. As the name suggests this mount is a mythical Unicorn. The mount has a unicorn horn and it leaves a trail of rainbows when it moves.

This is one of the items players can grab to celebrate the game’s one year anniversary. You can also grab a special one-handed sword to mark the occasion along with 50 Opals.
