Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield feature a number of unlockable charms you can acquire that give you passive bonuses for simply holding them. These charms impact things like catching Pokemon to getting more eggs from breeding. One charm players may want to get is the Shine Charm. As the name suggests the Shiny Charm improves the likelihood of spawning shiny variants of Pokemon to catch. Collect All 400 Pokemon in the Galar Pokedex

To start you need to collect all 400 Pokemon in the Galar Pokedex. This means collecting all the Sword and Shield exclusives; getting all evolved forms; and catching the copy specific Legendaries. Once you have all 400 Pokemon captured you can go onto the next step.

Present Completed Pokedex to Director in Hotel

Once you’ve caught ’em all you want to present the Pokedex to a man inside the hotel in Circhester. The hotel you are looking for is located in the left corner of the town square (where there is a sauna fountain). Inside the hotel go up the elevator and make a left. Walk to the end of the hallway and enter the room there. Here you will see a few NPCs. The NPC we want to speak to is the one dressed as a Doctor near the window. Speak with him and present your completed Pokedex to receive the Shiny Charm. As mentioned above this charm improves your chances of spawning shiny Pokemon into your game.
