To help you track down this shotgun we’ve put together a short guide. Continue reading below to learn how to get the Combat Shotgun in GTA Online.

Find the Combat Shotgun in El Rubio’s Compound

Advance the heist until you enter the El Rubio’s compound. Once you are in the compound area you will need to look for the Combat Shotgun in the courtyard. The weapon spawns randomly in a few different locations so you will need to explore them to ensure you find the gun. These locations are marked on the map above. If you find it in another spot let me know and I will add it to the map above.

If you are having trouble getting to each location you can simply die, respawn, and restart the check point again. This will let you get to all four locations above to look for the gun. Obviously if you have a crew the search is far easier than going it alone.

Pick it Up then Buy it From Ammu-Nation

If the gun is in any of the locations marked above you will see it leaning against a railing or wall. If you see the gun approach it and you will be prompted to pick it up. When you pick up the gun you will unlock it for purchase at any Ammu-nation for $295,000. You will also unlock the shotgun for use during the heist. Having this shotgun at your disposal can make completing this heist much easier as it packs quite the punch.

There’s another shotgun spawnpoint, leaned against the round table behind the pool security camera
