miHoYo has been hard at work lately adding new content to their very popular open-world RPG, Genshin Impact. Much of this work comes in the form of a steady stream of updates. The next planned update to launch in 1.6. This update comes with new characters, new quests, new weapons, and more. When Does Genshin Impact 1.6 Update Release?
The 1.6 update for Genshin Impact is set to begin on June 8th at 16:00 MST. For the exact time for your time zone head into the game and open the notices. Interact with the V1.6 Update Notice and scroll down to Update Duration section to find your exact time.
Like previous updates the game go offline for a limited time as miHoYo works on getting the update into the hands of the players. They expect the background work to take roughly 5 hours to complete. While the game is offline players above AR 5 will receive 300x Primogems as part of Maintenance Compensation.
