The Mount Update in Steal an Egg finally lets you ride your pets — and that’s not all it adds. This guide covers everything in the update, from how mounts work to all the other new additions worth knowing about.
Mounts
The major addition of this update is mounts and an NPC named Star Handler at Spawn. To make your pets into a mount you need to get a new item called Mount Stars.
How to Get Mount Stars
There are two ways to get Mount Stars: Buy them using Robux or win them:
- Buy them: Speak to Star Handler and buy 1, 3, or 5 for Robux
- Win them: Every Night there is a chance a Star Drop will occur. When it does everyone in the server gets a Mount Star.
The Star Drop is a random event for each individual server. It is not across servers like other events.
How to Make a Pet into a Mount
Mount Stars allow you to turn any pet you have into a mount. Approach a pet in your base that you want to make mountable and feed it a Mount Star.

Racing Event
Alongside Mounts there is a new Racing Event players can participate in. Every 30 minutes there is a server race players can compete in.
The race itself is similar to Mario Kart. Players ride a pet around a track for three laps. On the track there are speed boosts and items to pickup.
When a race is active you will find a portal in one of the Biomes. Enter the portal to enter the race (similar to the Dr. Scramble boss fight).
Trophy Currency, Shop, and Goals
Taking part in the Racing Event earns you the Trophy currency. This currency can be spent in the Racing Event shop to buy:

The Racing Event will only run for this week. So be sure to get buy all of the rare items from the shop before they are retired.
In the shop you will also find Goals. Goals are a pass of rewards you unlock by winning races. Rewards include special pets and bonuses Trophy currency.
