Since its release in 2016, Stardew Valley has attained both commercial and critical success unimaginable for a one man development studio. With the love and care ConcernedApe has put into the title, many fans have wondered what is next for the indie game making star, and it appears we now have an answer. ConcernedApe took to Twitter to reveal there are currently two projects underway that will somehow tie into the Stardew Valley universe.

Concerned Ape Confirms Two New Projects Underway

When asked on Twitter if he was working on any new games in the Stardew Valley universe, ConcernedApe responded with the tweet above. This response features a few interesting morsels for fans to pour over. One of the projects CA is making is a game set in the Stardew Valley world but it is not a farming game. The other project will tie into Stardew Valley in some way, but remains to be seen how.

Obviously it remains to be seen what exactly these projects are that ConcernedApe is working on, but the new information he has revealed to fans is welcome. After 4 years of Stardew Valley I am one fan that is eagerly awaiting new additions to the series and it is finally sounding like we will actually be getting some additions to the series.

Until these new projects drop players can still enjoy the new content that continues to flow in Stardew Valley. The last update, update 1.4 featured a number of new additions including spouse heart events for after marriage. There where also new additions like the Trash Bear added (because why not?).
