Blasphemous 2 Cherub Locations Guide (Children of the Moonlight)

There are 33 Blasphemous 2 Cherub collectibles for players to locate in the game. These collectibles are a returning type from the first Blasphemous game, so fans will recognize them immediately. The floating, imprisoned, children must be freed by destroying their enclosures. Once a Cherub is freed the player collects the collectible. Collecting all 33 of these collectibles allows players to reach the top of a special tower where rewards are located. To find all of the 33 Cherub collectibles easily, use our guide below.

Cherub (1/33) – Ravine of the High Stones

The first Cherub you will encounter is located in the Ravine of the High Stones area. As you walk through the area you will find it floating to the left of the platform shown above. Hard to miss this one as it is along the path you take to reach the City of the Blessed Name.

Cherub Location (2/33) – Ravine of the High Stones

Upon unlocking the Scion’s Protection ability you can return to the Ravine of the High Stones to get this Cherub collectible. Head to the room highlighted above and go to the far left side. Here you will find some platforms and floating handles you can grab onto. Use the floating handles to reach the Cherub collectible floating in the air to the right.

Cherub (3/33) – Profundo Lamento

As part of the main storyline you will visit the City of the Blessed Name. To leave the city you venture into the lower area called Prufundo Lamento. In this area you will reach a room with a Prie Dieu and a bell. Use Veredicto on the bell to ring it so the soundwave opens the gate to the right. Go through the gate to find a Cherub collectible.

Cherub (4/33) – City of the Blessed Name

After you’ve acquired the Ivy of Ascension ability (hold onto walls) you can use it to cross the broken bridge gap in the City of the Blessed Name. On the right-side of the bridge you will encounter a ladder. Go down the ladder. At the bottom of the ladder you will see a small hole in the right wall you can climb into and then slide through. In the alcove you will reach find a Cherub collectible.

Cherub (5/33) – City of the Blessed Name

Once you’ve acquired the Passage of Ash ability (double jump) you can snag a Cherub collectible in the City of the Blessed Name. Head to the area with the Prie Dieu. On the left-side of the area use double jump to reach the ledge at the top of the building. To the right of this ledge is the collectible. Double jump to reach it.

Cherub Location (6/33) – City of the Blessed Name

In the City of the Blessed Name’s last room there is a bell you can ring using Veredicto. Ring the bell then jump onto the platforms that appear. Double jump from the bell platforms to the right so you reach the wall. Climb up the wall to the ledge above. Jump left off that ledge to the floating Cherub.

Cherub (7/33) – Grilles and Ruin

In the Grilles and Ruin area you will reach an open area above the Prie Dieu room. In this open area use the upper platforms and cages to reach the platform on the far left. To the left of this platform is the Cherub collectible.

Cherub (8/33) – Palace of the Embroideries

In the Palace of the Embroderies area you will encounter a Cherub collectible in the room shown on the map above. To reach this collectible hit the mirrors with the Sarmiento & Centella blades to warp to the top part of the room. At the top of the room switch weapons to the Veredicto and swing it to smash the collectible.

Cherub Location (9/33) – Choir of Thorns

In the Choir of Thorns area you will encounter a Cherub collectible in the forest room to the right of the first Prie Dieu. This collectible is hidden behind the tree foliage at the top of the screen towards the exit. Jump up to the platform there and swing your weapon to the right to collect it.

Cherub Location (10/33) – Choir of Thorns

This Cherub collectible is located in the upper section of the Choir of Thorns location. To reach this area you need to use either the elevator from Elevated Temples, the Forgotten Tribute, or have other traversal methods available to you. In this upper area make your way to the long room just before the Crown of Towers entrance. Look for the collectible floating among the trees above.

Cherub Location (11/33) – Crown of Towers

In the Crown of Towers area you will encounter a Cherub collectible in the first Prie Dieu room shown above. This room features spots you can climb using the Ivy of Ascension ability. Climb the wall then double jump to reach the floating collectible.

Cherub Location (12/33) – Crown of Towers

In the Crown of Towers area you will encounter a Cherub in the top most room shown on the map above. This room features blue chains and a few platforms. At the top of the platforms by the chain you will see the collectible floating in the air on your left.

Cherub Location (13/33) – Aqueducts of the Costales

When you first enter Aqueduct of the Costales you will be in a room featuring a bell. Ring the bell using the Veredicto to make platforms appear on your right. Climb those platforms to reach the floating Cherub above.

Cherub Location (14/33) – Aqueduct of the Costales

Further up in the Aqueduct of the Costales after the first Prie Dieu you will be in a room where you climb up a ladder. To the right of the top of this ladder is a platform you can go right on. Go right on it to find the Cherub floating above.

Cherub Location (15/33) – Aqueduct of the Costales

After you beat the Great Preceptor Radames boss in the Sacred Entombments you can access the lower part of the Aqueduct of Costales. In this section you will complete a few bell puzzles. In the second room of bell puzzles use the bell, in the lower part of the room, and the statues to make a path leading to the upper section where the Cherub collectible is located.

Cherub Location (16/33) – Sacred Entombments

Go to the large Prie Dieu room in the Sacred Entombments location. In this room climb the wall on the right side. Jump from the wall into the middle of the room to reach a Cherub. Requires having double-jump ability to reach.

Cherub (17/33) – Mother of Mothers

In the Mother of Mothers area you will encounter a room featuring portal statues which will warp you through it. Use the Sarmiento & Centella blades on the statues to teleport into the upper middle of the room. In this middle area of the room you will find the Cherub collectible.

Cherub Location (18/33) – Mother of Mothers

In the Mother of Mothers area you will reach a large room that has a bell in the middle of it. Ring the bell using Veredicto and then go left. Climb up the ladder to the top of the room and use the platforms there to double jump to the right to reach the Cherub.

Cherub Location (19/33) – Beneath Her Sacred Grounds

In the Beneath Hear Sacred Grounds area you will reach a boss named Afilaor, Sentinel of the Emery. Defeat this boss to gain access to the Passage of Ash ability. Once you have this ability you will use it to make your way out of the area. Along the way you will reach the room pictured above. Use wall climb and double jump to reach the Cherub collectible on the left.

Cherub Location (20/33) – Elevated Temples

In the long climb up to the Elevated Temples you will complete a sequence where you use mirrors to teleport up. Upon landing you will about 80% up the room. Walk onto the platform on the right-side of the room and stand on the edge. Look right to find the Cherub floating along the screen edge. Jump off the ledge and swing while falling down to hit it.

Cherub Location (21/33) – Elevated Temple

In the Elevated Temple as you make your way towards the Garden of the High Choirs in the bottom left you will go through a long vertical room. About halfway through this room you will find the Cherub collectible floating under the left-most platform. Drop down and attack while falling to collect it.

Cherub Location (22/33) – Elevated Temples

As you explore the Elevated Temples you will reach the large square room on the left-side (shown above). In this room look for a portal mirror that takes you up. Use it to reach the a ledge with the Cherub collectible above it.

Cherub Location (23/33) – Elevated Temple

As you explore the exterior right area of the Elevated Temple you will reach this large square room. Make your way to the lower section of this room and look for wall on a middle pillar that you can climb. Double jump and dash to this wall then jump left to reach the Cherub collectible.

Cherub Location (24/33) – Street of Wakes

Once you have the Mercy of the Wind ability (air dash) you can explore more of the Street of Wakes location. In this location go to the upper section of the large room pictured above and use the platforms there to reach the Cherub in the far left corner.

Cherub Location (25/33) – Basilica of Absent Faces

After you complete the Basilica of Absent Faces (by defeating Benedicta) you can use the elevator from the boss fight. Ride it back up to the top of the level. At the top you will find the Cherub waiting for you in the elevator shaft. Jump on top of the elevator to reach it.

Cherub Location (26/33) – Sea of Ink

There is a Cherub collectible in the Sea of Ink location. It is floating just outside of the entrance to the Sunken Cathedral. It is very high up and impossible to jump and dash to. Instead you will need to use a Prayer to reach it. There are two I’ve confirmed that work for collecting it: Martinete of Forge and Thunder and Debla of the Lights. Cherub Location (27/33) – Sunken Cathedral

In the Sunken Cathedral you will find a Cherub located in the lower middle right room highlighted in the screenshot above. Stand on the highest platform of the room and jump to the left then dash/double-jump to reach the Cherub in the top left corner.

Cherub Location (28/33) – Labyrinth of Tides

As you make your way through the Labyrinth of Tides you will reach a large square room. In this square room is a number of gaps you can slide through along the top. Slide through the gaps to reach the right corner where there is another hidden gap you can slide through. Slide through this final gap to reach the Cherub collectible.

Cherub Location (29/33) – Labyrinth of Tides

Continue through the Labyrinth of Tides until you reach the entrance section leading up to The Severed Tower. In this location walk to the building’s entrance, but don’t go in. Turn around and double jump to the left then dash to reach a floating Cherub collectible.

Cherub Location (30/33) – The Severed Tower

In The Severed Tower there is a hidden corner in the room shown on the map above. Use your Scion’s Protection ability to ascend up from the bottom of the room to a middle section where there is a platform. Break the wall on the right-side of this platform to reveal a Cherub.

Cherub Location (31/33) – The Severed Tower

In The Severed Tower there is a hidden corner players can break leading to the room shown above. This lead path takes you back to the Sunken Cathedral. In the shortcut room you will find a floating Cherub.

Cherub Location (32/33) – Two Moons

Use the first water portal to of Two Moons to reach the reflection of the area. On the other-side make your way forwards until you reach a large square room. Floating at the top of the square room is the Cherub floating over a fountain on the ceiling. Use double-jump, dash, and Veredicto to reach it.

Cherub Location (33/33) – Two Moons

Continue through the Two Moons area. Eventually you can go to the upper section of the courtyard with the fountain where you did the entrance combat challenge. In this area you you will be standing on a ledge on the right. Use the Scion’s Protection ability with double-jump and dash to reach the floating Cherub on the far left.

All Rewards for Collecting Cherubs in Blasphemous 2

As you collect Cherub’s throughout the different locations you will unlock platforms in the Garden of the High Choirs location. Simply visit this location and speak to Proximo there. Each time a Cherub is collected one platform appears which allows you to make your way further up the tower. As you go up the platforms there are various rewards you can collect, including those at the very top of the tower.

32	Access to the top of the tower where you will find: – 4 Marks of Martyrdom – Giant Rattle (Quest Item) – Gregal (Figure)

When you snag the Giant Rattle item take it back down to Proximo. Give it to him to receive the Remembrance of Proximo. Take this Remembrance to the artisan to craft the Proximo figure.

Once you’ve collected all of the Cherubs you will unlock the No Cherub Left Behind trophy/achievement. Additionally you will contribute completion % to both progress in the story and on the map.
