Vampire Survivors Tides of the Foscari Bosses

Vampire Survivors Je Ne Viv boss fight.

The Vampire Survivors Tides of the Foscari DLC is now available and it adds new characters, new stages, new weapons, and new bosses to the experience. Like the previous DLC you will need to search out the bosses if you want to fight them. To help you do that here’s a complete guide to the Vampire Survivors Tides of the Foscari bosses.

Avatar of Gaea

Vampire Survivors Avatar of Gaea boss.
The Avatar of Gaea is an ethereal deer.

The first boss you will most likely face is the Avatar of Gaea in the Lake Foscari stage. This boss appears at the 25 minute mark of a run. The boss is a large ethereal deer that gains health at the beginning of the fight. This makes it somewhat difficult to beat if you have a low DPS build.

Once you do manage to beat the Avatar of Gaea you will unlock Hyper mode for the Lake Foscari stage. You will also unlock the associated achievement called Hyper Lake Socari. With this mode unlocked you can activate it by checking the Hyper box on the Stage Select screen.

Je-Ne-Vi

The second boss in the DLC is a bit more complicated to fight. To face off against Je-Ne-Vi in the Abyss Foscari stage you need to complete the Seal questline which tasks you with breaking the Seal of Lake, Abyss, and the Banished. When you break the final Seal, the Seal of the Banished, you will trigger the boss fight against Je-Ne-Vi. This fight is somewhat non-traditional to complete.

Upon beating Je-Ne-Vi you will unlock Hyper mode for the Abyss Forscari stage. You will also unlock the associated achievement called Hyper Abyss Foscari. With this mode unlocked you can activate it by checking the Hyper box on the Stage Select screen.

An additional point about Je-Ne-Vi. This boss is actually an unlockable DLC character. You can unlock it by completing a special challenge using Luminaire. Je-Ne-Vi starts wit the new weapon called the Shadow Servant.
