Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 Guide – Water Treatment Plant
Upon completing the Wack-A-Wuggy and Statues sections you will arrive in the Water Treatment Plant area. This area features a number of collectibles to find and puzzles to complete in order to advance. To help you complete it here’s our Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 Water Treatment Plant guide.

How to Complete the Water Treatment Puzzle (1)
After Statues you will arrive in the Water Treatment area. In this area go up to the controls. There are two buttons you can push. These buttons rotate the platforms in front of you.
Optional Collectible
- Right next to the controls is the Transfer Note [4/7].
To get where we need to go push Rotate Bottom 3x times. This will create a path we can take to reach Room C2.
Optional Collectible
- While on the platform to C2 look across the gap to the Game Station door. Sitting there is the Jimmy Roth Interview Tape [5/7]. The VCR to play it is by the control buttons.
Take the path to Room C2. Inside this room we need to complete a puzzle to get a Bunzo Bunny toy.
Room C2: Get a Bunzo Bunny
Inside Room C2 you will encounter the Cat-Bee Cardboard Cutout [9/10]. Go past it and get on the lift that has two levers on it.
To complete this room you need to make the Bunzo Bunny toy reach the top of the room so you can get one. To do this follow these steps:
- Push first red button on the wall so conveyor goes to the left.
- Use lever to go up stop about halfway.
- Push blue button so conveyor goes left.
- Push yellow button so conveyor goes left.
- Use lever to go up to the top.
- Push first red button so conveyor goes left.
- Push second red button when Bunzo Bunny is on the last conveyor belt so it comes to you.
Once you have the Bunzo Bunny raise the elevator up as high as it can go. Look for a conveyor belt with the Barry Trophy [7/9] on it. Grab it then head back to the bottom of the room. Return to the Water Treatment controls.
How to Complete the Water Treatment Puzzle (2)
Once you’re back at the controls, you need to rotate the platforms to access the other side of the Water Treatment plant, where Room C4 is located. Follow these steps to align the platforms correctly:
- Rotate the top platform 90 degrees.
- Rotate the bottom platform 90 degrees twice.
- Rotate the top platform 90 degrees twice.
After setting the platforms as shown in the screenshot above, head down the path leading to Room C4. Place the Bunzo Bunny into the Toy Scanner to unlock the entrance to Room C4. Walk forward until you reach a dead end. On your left, you’ll find a vent in the wall—enter it.
Go left in the vent and keep following it until you reach a room with a large hole in the center. Swing across the hole to the other side, where you’ll find a power puzzle waiting for you.
How to Complete the Room C4 Power Puzzle
On the other side you will find a socket, two power poles, and a green socket you can power up from. Do the following:
- Connect to the socket
- Wrap around both power poles then disconnect
- Charge your green hand on the green socket
- Swing back across the gap
- Use Green Hand on plug on wall by the door
- Go through the door
Optional Collectibles
- In the caged area where the Green Power Socket is (the one that opens when you power up the two poles then disconnect) is the PSA Big Spider VHS Tape [6/7]. The VCR is in the room you can access after opening the door.
- In the area with the VCR you will find the Boogie Bot Cardboard Cutout [10/10].
With the doors open, go back into the room with the two power poles. Connect and wrap around them to make a circuit. Look out the opened door and connect to the socket that says 2.
Follow the power cord and go into the vent on the right. Take your first left. You will fall through the floor. Walk forward in this hallway and will encounter Mommy Long Legs!
Mommy Long Legs Chase #1
Mommy Long Legs will drop through the hole in the ceiling. She will start walking towards you, pushing you towards the door. She will start counting, so you will need to run and reach the Basement!
Optional Collectible
- While going through the vent during the chase you will see the Mommy Long Legs Trophy [8/9] across the gap you drop down.
