How to Complete the Morgue Puzzle
When you first enter the morgue, take a moment to scan the room and note essential items: the blue hand scanner near the locked exit door, a saw, rows of body storage units, an extended arm with a blue hand attached, and locked temperature control consoles to adjust environmental settings. Prioritize memorizing their locations, as these tools and devices will be necessary to solve challenges and advance through the area.
Before you proceed with the puzzle keep in mind that you need to act fast. Once you activate the blue hand scanner you will need to quickly complete the puzzle or you will freeze to death.
Follow these steps when you’re ready:
- Use your Blue Hand on the Blue Scanner by the locked door. Your Blue Hand freezes in place.
- Grab the Battery Pack from the Body Drawer #2.
- Put the Battery Pack in the Saw.
- Move the Saw to cut the stretched Blue Hand.
- Pick up the Blue Hand.
- Use the Blue Hand on the Temperature Control console sensor.

What to Do After Solving the Puzzle
Once the coolant system is disabled, finish the puzzle by unplugging the electrical cord from the Temperature Control console. Carry the cord into the adjacent chamber housing the contained specimen, then plug it into the specimen holder on the wall. This redirects power into the containment unit, electrocuting and neutralizing the specimen.
Upon destroying the specimen, a door will open on the other side of the room. You can use this door to travel further in the chapter where more puzzles and enemies await.
