Poppy Playtime Chapter 1 – All VHS Tapes & VCR Locations
If you want to uncover the creepy secrets of Playtime Co. and snag the (Chapter 1) Avid Listener achievement, you’ll need to track down all five Poppy Playtime Chapter 1 VHS tapes. These tapes aren’t just for show—they explain the lore of the factory and teach you how to use your gear. Here is exactly where to look so you don’t miss a single one!
1. Green VHS Tape
The first VHS tape you’ll find is the Green VHS Tape. It is located in the Reception Area right at the start of the game.
After grabbing it, take it to the nearby Green VCR on the right side of the desk. Insert the tape into the VCR to watch a short video that introduces you to the game’s mechanics.
2. Blue VHS Tape
After completing the Security Door puzzle, head into the Security Office. Once inside, head to the desk where you’ll find the Blue VHS Tape and the Blue VCR.
This tape is cannot be missed. You have to collect it to advance the story. The main point of this tape is to introduce players to the GrabPack.
3. Yellow VHS Tape
Next, you’ll find the Yellow VHS Tape in the Storage Room where you obtain the Red Hand. To find the tape, head to the second leaning shelf closest to the sliding door and walk behind the first shelf to grab it.
Once you have the tape, make your way back to to the entrance area. Here look for the Yellow VCR at the bottom of the stairs. Insert it to to watch the video.
4. Pink VHS Tape
In the Make A Friend room, make your way upstairs to the catwalk. After you’ve pulled the catwalk to close the gap, look to the right of the room. You’ll spot the Pink VHS Tape resting on a blue-painted square on the wall. Grab it.
To watch it go back to the beginning of the catwalk, by the top of the stairs. You will find the Pink VCR there. Put the tape inside.
5. Gray VHS Tape
After surviving the chase sequence with Huggy Wuggy, you’ll find the Gray VHS Tape on the catwalk. The tape is located at the final T-intersection on the path leading to the Flower Door.
If you want to watch it., pick it up and take a right, then insert it into the Gray VCR at the end of the catwalk.
