Gemad-Wulf – Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Guide
In the Lincolnscire area of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla there is a legendary animal players can hunt called the Gemad-Wulf. This large wolf is one of nine legendary animals players can hunt as part of the Master Hunter Trophy/Achievement. Besides progress towards the achievement completing this hunt also earns XP, materials, and area mystery progress. To help you find and defeat this legendary wolf we’ve put together the guide below.
Suggested Power: 150-220.
Where to Find Gemad-Wulf
Hunting Log: “When the Bishopric moved, one lonely wolf stayed. The diocese dare not fight it, for locals claim it haunts the land on behalf of Simon the Zealot, who was crucified here.”
The Gemad-Wolf is a large legendary wolf players can find in the Lincolnscire, England area. This legendary animal can be found in the ruins called Caistor Lupus which are along the northern border of the region. When you reach the ruins you will find the wolf in a boss area that has two levels. If you enter the area you will trigger the boss fight against Gemad-Wulf.
How to Defeat Gemad-Wulf
The Gemad-Wulf has a couple of phases you need to contend with to win the battle. First it will fight you one-on-one. Once you deal about a quarter of its health bar in damage it will retreat and summon wolves into the arena. The Gemad-Wulf will continue to use this tactic as you whittle down its health. The final summon it will make is a pack of five wolves so be extra cautious when the Gemad-Wulf is near death.
As I have been doing I recommend stocking up on Rations before entering the fight. Also ensure you are somewhat near the power recommendation for this fight as you will be wasting your time otherwise. Before you enter the boss arena be sure to make a save so you can quick load there and try again if needed.
Rewards for Defeating Gemad-Wulf
Like other legendary animals you will receive a number of rewards for felling this creature. Upon defeat you will earn XP, +1 Lincolnscire Mystery, +85 Leather materials, and the Iron Brazier (Scheme). When you turn the head into Wallace it is mounted in your Longhouse at the settlement.
