Summer Game Fest Kickoff 2021 Rundown, Everything Shown

E3 2021 season is about to start and Geoff Keighley is kicking it off with the start of his Summer Game Fest. What is a summer long event got started today in the Summer Game Fest kickoff. Summer Game Fest Kickoff 2021 Game List

The event was held on June 10th at 11 AM PT. Like other events this year it was a livestream affair with Geoff Keighley as host along with a number of guests that dropped in from time to time. This event featured a wide variety of game premieres and updates to previously released titles. The full list of announcements can be found below.

Tiny Tina’s WonderlandsNext Borderlands title. Features Andy Samberg, Will Arnett, Ashly Burg. Coming Early 2022. Standalone title inspired by Borderlands DLC, but not Borderlands. Will have magic casting.
Metal Slug TacticsA top-down turn-based Metal Slug title. Looks a bit like Xcom.
Hideo Kojima InterviewKojima appeared on the show here. Talked about his design process and how it is impacting the next game he is working. A new game is coming.
Death Stranding Director’s CutAt the end of the interview there was a trailer for Death Stranding Director’s Cut.
Jurassic World Evolution 2Jeff Goldblum appeared briefly. He introduced a world premiere for a new Jurassic Park park building game. Slated to release in 2021.
Sable music performanceThere was a musical performance for upcoming title Sable. Has a released date of September 2021.
Lost Ark World premiere for the Lost Ark MMO coming to the US. Amazon Games is involved in bringing the project stateside.
Call of Duty Warzone Season FourTalked about the upcoming season for COD. Will be coming June 17. New operators, new zombie content, hijacked gulag. World premiere trailer. Competitive league is coming to Twitch Rivals on June 22.
Among Us Roadmap TrailerNew roles are coming, new character colors, new cosmetics revealed in trailer. Geoff mask is available right now.
Yoshida Interview about IndiesYoshida was interviewed about the indies coming to PlayStation.

The Anacrusis TrailerA four-player first person shooter set on a spaceship. Looks fairly early in development.

This was everything shown in the Summer Game Fest 2021 Kickoff event. To say the event was a success is an understatement. There were a number of huge announcements with Elden Ring being arguably one of the biggest gets in a while. Gamers should be very excited to see what else this weekend has in store.
