Stray Will be on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium
Stray, the upcoming play-as-a-cat title from developers BlueTwelve Studios and publishers AnnaPurna Interactive, has made a surprising announcement. The announcement, made during the Sony’s State of Play event on 2 June, revealed that Stray will be on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium.
PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Will Have Stray at Launch
It has been somewhat of a strange year for gaming with a large number of titles delayed into 2023. One of the titles that experienced delays, but is now just around the corner, is Stray. The title is set to launch on PC [Steam] and PlayStation 4 & 5 on July 19th.
PlayStation owners who pay for the console’s PlayStation Plus or Premium memberships will be able to play the game when it launches as part of their membership perks. This is a fairly interesting development from Sony, which had initially stated they did not expect new third party titles to appear on the membership service.
Now, however, it appears they’ve changed their minds. While not a huge title, in terms of the developer’s size, Stray has developed a fairly large following on the internet due to its unique gameplay mechanics. Recently it hit the top of Steam’s most wishlisted games.
Ahead of Stray‘s release players can view the game’s Trophies/Achievements list. They can also check out the day one patches and what’s inside of them.
