Resident Evil April 15 Showcase Rundown

One of the best parts of the pandemic era we are currently living through is the numerous game streams that are now being created. These developer led streams offer players first looks at what can be accepted out of the studio for the months ahead. One of the major developers that has been embracing livestreams is Capcom. Today Capcom offered a look at their upcoming Resident Evil Village title. If you missed it, or just need a refresher this post is for you. Below is our complete Resident Evil April 15 showcase rundown.

Details Shown During the Resident Evil Village Showcase on April 15

The livestream today by Capcom started at 3 PDT. The stream was a total of 25 minutes. During the stream the developers focused entirely on the upcoming Resident Evil Village title. The information shown during the stream was as follows (in chronological order):

  • New demo for Consoles, Stadia, and PC. Playable for 1 hour.
    • NA – May 1, 5PM – May 2, 5PM PDT.
    • EU – May 2, 2 AM – May 3, 2AM CEST.
    • Asia – May 2 8 AM – May 3, 8 AM HKT.
  • Console exclusive demo for PS4 and PS5 allows players to play within an 8 hour window. Demo is 30 minutes long. Pre-load available now.

Resident Evil 25th Anniversary Mentions

  • Reside Evil Re: Verse mentioned. This multiplayer mode is free with purchase of Village.
  • Members of gaming industry celebrated the milestone in a brief reel.
  • Resident Evil Infinite Darkness Netflix tv show trailer shown. Will pick up after the events of Resident Evil 4 with Ashley’s father as president. Release date July 2021.
  • Dead by Daylight is getting a Resident Evil DLC. More details will be released on a May 25th DBD stream.
  • Resident Evil 4 VR remake announced. More details will come.
