PlayStation Plus owners now know what free games to expect in September 2022 thanks to a new post from Sony. This new post lays out the complete list of free PlayStation Plus September 2022 games. To see what they are check out the list below.



September 2022 Games

PlayStation revealed the PlayStation Plus September 2022 games over on their PlayStation.Blog. This post laid out the different games players will have access to across the three membership tiers: Premium, Extra, and Essential. The games that will be free in September are as follows:



Essential (September 6-Ocotber 3)

  • Need for Speed Heat – PS4.
  • Granblue Fantasy: Versus – PS4.
  • Toem – PS5.

Premium + Extra Game Catalogue (September 20)

  • Deathloop – PS5.
  • Assassin’s Creed Origins – PS5.
  • Watch Dogs 2 – PS4.
  • Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 – PS4.
  • Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition – PS4.
  • Chicory: A Colorful Tale – PS4.
  • Monster Energy Supercross – PS4, PS5.
  • Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX – PS4, PS5.
  • Rabbids Invasion: The Interactive TV Show – PS4.
  • Rayman Legends – PS4.
  • Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition – PS4.

Classics

  • Syphon Filter 2 – PS1.
  • The Sly Collection – PS3.
  • Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time – PS3.
  • Bentley’s Hackpack – PS3.
  • Toy Story 3 – PSP.
  • Kingdom of Paradis – PSP.

All of the above listed games are accessible by either having access to the Essential tier or the more expensive Premium and Extra tiers of PlayStation Plus. If you do have access you will find the games listed above in the shop or the pass.



The highlight of this month has to be the arrival of Deathloop to the game catalogue. This title was very successful when it launched back in 2021. If you haven’t played it you should give it a try to see what you think of its interesting looping mechanic.
