November 2022 Video Game Release Dates to Know

The spookiest month of the year is done and now we are into November. November 2022 is shaping up to be a pretty packed month for gaming. There is arguably one of the biggest titles of the year coming out this month in God of War: Ragnarök. Alongside this PlayStation exclusive other notable games are releasing across a wide variety consoles and genres. To learn more here’s the most important November 2022 video game release dates to know.

The Chant [November 3]

November starts out with a horror game that would’ve been perfect to release around Halloween. On November 3rd The Chant is coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.

This third-person survival horror title puts players in control of Jess Briars who visits the Prismic Science Spiritual Retreat on Glory Island. What starts out as a peaceful visit quickly turns into a nightmare as a group chant opens The Gloom, a a psychedelic dimension of terror that feeds off negative energy. To survive the horrors players must explore mysteries on the island, defeat cosmic enemies, and interact with a wide-range of NPC survivors.

Sonic Frontiers [November 8]

Players that want to go fast will have the chance to on November 8th, with the release of Sonic Frontiers. This new Sonic entry, when it does release, will launch on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.

Sonic Frontiers takes the series in a new direction than previously seen. The game boasts new Open Zone platforming in the form of five massive overworld islands that players can explore. These locations feature unique platforming challenges and hidden secrets to find. Alongside the high-speed platforming there is a new combat system featuring skill tree upgrades, dodges, parries, counters, combos, and Cyloop abilities.

God of War: Ragnarök [November 9]

The biggest title of the month is Sony’s Santa Monica Studio God of War: Ragnarök. This Title is the follow up to the critically acclaimed God of War released back in 2018. God of War: Ragnarök launches exclusively onto PlayStation 5 on November 9.

God of War: Ragnarök is the sequel God of War (2018). In this sequel players continue advancing through the story of Kratos and Arteus as they journey through the Nine Realms. While making it through these locations the end of the world battle, Ragnarök, grows ever closer. Alongside the new story there is more refined combat system with new combos and Runic abilities.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 [November 16]

The next iteration of the popular Call of Duty: Warzone battle royale, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, will release on November 16. This sequel will launch free for players on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Battlenet.

This new entry into the Call of Duty battle royale series features an entirely new map called Al Mazrah. This map will be the largest map they developers have created to date. Additionally the map promises to introduce more aquatic combat along with over a dozen new unique vehicles.

Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me [November 18]

A new entry in the Dark Pictures Anthology will release on November 18th. The new entry is The Devil in Me. It is the fourth game in the series and is the Season One Finale. Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me will release on PS5/PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me takes place in the World’s Fair Hotel. This building has been specifically designed to kill those that venture inside of it. As a character trapped inside, it is up to you to escape the killing rooms and the killer himself.

Pokemon Violet and Pokemon Scarlet [November 18]

Like clockwork every November there is a new Pokémon game released and 2022 is no different. Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are slated to release on November 18, exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.

Pokémon Violet and Pokémon Scarlet take the popular Pokémon formula in a new direction by creating a open-world RPG experience. This new experience takes place in the region called Paldea. Paldea is teeming with new Pokémon to find and catch and all new stories to experience.

Both Pokémon Violet and Pokémon Scarlet mark the first open-world experience of the series. Players will be able to explore with friends and will be able to tackle the different storylines in the game in whatever order they so wish.

Besides the major titles listed above, there are a number of other games coming in October 2022 you may want to keep an eye on. These games are coming to a wide variety of platforms.

  • Vampire Survivors – November 10 [Xbox Series X/S].
  • Syberia: The World Before – November 15 [Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4/5].
  • Goat Simulator 3 – November 17 [Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4/5, PC].
  • Spider-Man: Miles Morales – November 18 [PC].

Overall, October 2022 is shaping up to be a very good month for games. There is a wide range of different consoles and genres slated to release, so there is guaranteed to be something for everyone.
