Nintendo E3 2021 Direct Will Be on June 15, Announcement Reveals
Nintendo has been rather quiet leading into the upcoming E3 2021 event, sharing only that they would be taking part in the festivities like they do every year. Now thanks to a recent post we now know when the Nintendo E3 2021 Direct is happening. The company has confirmed the direct will occur on June 15th at 9 AM PT.
The announcement came directly from the Nintendo of America Twitter account. The tweet mentions a few interesting tidbits about what viewers can expect. First the Nintendo Direct will be roughly 40 minutes in length and will focus solely on the Nintendo Switch. Second the direct will be followed by a Nintendo Treehouse live that will feature 3 hours of gameplay.
What exactly will be in this direct remains to be seen. Rumors of a Nintendo Switch Pro version have been floating around the internet so that may be worked into the livestream. Other things we can expect to be there include The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, some more details on the 35th Anniversary of Zelda, possibly a new Mario title, and maybe news on Metroid Prime 4.
